It was the 1st Annual KG Sports day at VNGK Medavakkam

The day was bright and sunny, the morning dawned with buzzing and happy voices of tiny little tots holding their parents hands and walking in for their Big day. YES!! It was the 1st Annual KG Sports day at VNGK Medavakkam. The auro in the ground was very active and vibrant with lots of tents pitched in allowing the parents to settle down comfortably to have a grandeur view of their champions perform. First the ceremony began with the VIP Call, following with a small prayer by the tiny tots of JKG and SKG who  humbly implored the Lord Almighty through their prayer song and invoked God’s gracious blessings on all of us. The flag hoisting ceremony was followed by the March Past, where the young talented troops of JKG and SKG Champions marched in perfect co ordination and unison paying their tribute to the dignitaries.  Next in line was the Lighting of the Olympic torch, by the proud torch bearers from JKG and SKG. They spread a lot of positive vibes amongst everyone present.

The day turned out to be the best with the colorful performance of PKG tiny little tots with the Cool and Swirl Drill Dance and adding to the celebration mode we had attractive performances - The little birdie drill dance by JKG and the day was informative also by the depiction of the aerobics, done in perfect co ordination by the JKG champions. The day ended with a patriotic note through the flag song drill dance by the SKG champions. It made everyone’s heart swell with pride for their nation. This day has proven nothing is impossible, age doesn’t matter to whatsoever it is, practice and determination can make success your way. This learning lesson was vested in everyone’s thoughts as they left the ground with a happy note in their faces and with thoughts which took them back to their good old days in school.
