Participation in Futsal Football tournament

"Participation is more important than just winning. If you will keep on participating in different competitions then one day you will get the result of your hard work. Participation increases our confidence level." True to this, the football team of Velammal NewGen School, Medavakkam participated in the Velammal Futsal Football Tournament 2019 on the 1^st Feb 2019 at Velammal Matric. Hr. Sec. School, Ponneri. The team won in its first match with Velammal Matric. Hr. School, Surapet with a score of 1-0, with Master Joel Antony scoring for the team. The team however went down fighting 0-3 in the next round match with Velammal Matric. Hr. School, Ponneri. Kudos to our little masters for the brave attempt and a hearty appreciation to Mr Nagaraj, our PET teacher for the initiative.
