                                            It was Friday the 5th July 2019 and 60 students from Velammal Vidyalaya NewGen School were fielded for Athletics Kids Meet held at Ramachandra University ,Porur.The students participated in 4 categories,Under 8,Under 10,Under 12 & Under 14 and bagged the following prizes  

Under 8  

Shotput -                 Hermis Jaswin- Silver medal,  

                                Deepak Irlla - Bronze medal 

Relay boys-             Hermis Jaswin, Deepak Irlla, Tarun & Vikash  -Silver medal   

Under 10

Shotput-                 Sahas Rajan - Silver medal 

Relay girls-             Kavya, Shobitha, Deeptha & Vanshika- Silver medal   

Under 12 

Shotput-                  Aakansha - Gold medal
Relay girls -            Deepika, Sharnya reddy , Harini & Subiksha - Bronze medal

Under 14  

Shotput -                Girish- Bronze medal
