VNGSM - INDEPENDENCE DAY ACTIVITY –Grade 1 and 2

The students of Grade 1 and 2 had a fun filled activity today  .To commemorate our Nation’s Independence day they had crafted a life size Image of our country ’Mother India ‘ and the national bird ‘The peacock’  using ice cream sticks . The work of art done by these little artists was magnificent and one of a kind. Together as a team they had a wonderful experience coloring the sticks and pasting it on the canvas with the help of their beloved teachers, they were all the more happy when they rejoiced in the work of art they had created.

Their happiness knew no bounds when they were asked to encircle the images and sing their favorite national anthem with much vigor and enthusiasm .These future leaders proved that age doesn’t matter when it comes to true patriotism and love for one’s country. They truly proved to be proud children of Mother India.
