VNGS Medavakkam SKILL DAY – Grade II -12th October, 2019

A Skill Day is where the student demonstrates to their parents and teachers the skills they learned or the concepts they understood of their learning in various co-curricular activities.

It is believed that everyone is born with some talent, ability, or skill that he can mine to support him and to succeed in life. Every skill one acquires doubles their odds of success.

The aim of skill Day is to encourage students to celebrate the value of acquiring various skills like music, dance, karate, art, zumba, building, making, and creating. When they exhibit their skills on stage they feel confident, a sense of achievement and fulfillment.

Skill day was organized for the students of class II on 12^th October, 2019; all the students actively participated in various activities and exhibited their talents in dance, Yoga, Karate, Music, Zumba and Art. The parents and teachers were happy to see the young talents perform an array of activities on what they had learnt in these classes. A fun filled day for the students to showcase their skills on stage and before their parents.

The parents were overjoyed to see their wards perform on stage .The students performed to their best to the applause of the audience .A wonderful day for the students that brought about participation, confidence and above all the latent talents of the students.

The true purpose of education is to make human beings with good expertise and skill.
