VNGS Medavakkam - MATH WHIZ DAY – 07th December, 2019

VNGSM organized a Math Whiz day for the students of classes I & 2 today in the campus from 9.30 to 10.30am, the objective was to build a mathematical mind set to the young minds through engagement and creative play in Mathematics. The students were able to showcase their mathematical skills to their parents on the various topics they learnt in the class.

The students presented many activities under various topics such as shapes and patterns, number line , Addition ,Comparing numbers, measurement , number names ,subtraction; they presented songs, skits and explained the various terms in math they had learned. The students were happy to present their learning in front of their parents. All the parents were overjoyed to see their kids’ perform.’Their Happiness knew no bounds’

The day was buzzing with active minds exploring, engaging and problem solving sums, the teachers were happy to see their math whizzes present their math skills in front of an audience ,they were able to problem solve sums ,explain and interactive to the audience,  what better way to find the express, than the ‘MATH WAY’  .
