Field Trip to Dakshinachitra
There was excitement in the air as children of Kindergarten to Grade V of Velammal Kelambakkam went to Dakshina Chitra. They enjoyed walking into the various typical South Indian houses from the four sister states and learning more about the rich cultural heritage of South India.
Celebrating the Harvest Festival
Pongal celebrations culminated a talk on significance of festival, traditional song, followed by a folk dance. The event reflected a true manifestation of our rich culture and traditions seen at its vibrant best.
Making Learning visible (MLV) assembly
Making what they have learnt in their classrooms Visible via special Assembly time incorporating the relevant knowledge to the students via demos & experiments..

So. Sc-- Students across Grade III displayed their models, scrapbook and chart work on Early Human Dwellings & Life during Show & Tell Activity.
Grade VI showcasing a Collaborative Learning after taking a flipped learning on Urban livelihood.
Science-Grade III displayed their models & chart work on Water Cycle.
Grade IV learnt various types and layers of soil during a Nature Walk.
Students of Grade V performing a group activity on Waste Management. - preparing manure out of kitchen waste.
Maths Grade III displayed their models on Physical Balance and weights.
Karate Grades IV-VIII practicing various defense techniques of Kobudo.
Achievers in Sports for the month--Sivaraman of Grade VIII won 11th place in Kanchipuram District level Chess competition.
Young athletes from KGT to Grade VIII participated in 5th State Level Athletics meet, held by Real Sports Academy bagging 2 Individual Championships, 8 Gold medals, 3 Silver medals and 6 Bronze medals. Kudos to the untiring efforts of PET Mr. Mariappan.
Roshan and Yashodhar of Sr. KG A and Grade III, bagged I and II prize, respectively in National level Silambam competition at St Joseph’s college of Engineering.
