Student-led conference in place of a conventional PTODM… “ A real good experience for us as parents, happy to see that our children have reflected on their performance ”, said the father of a grade 6 student. During conventional PTODMs, parents ask how their students are doing, and teachers provide grades, behavior reports and the report cards. Instead, in a SLC- Student-led conference , our students ran the conference, informing their parents about how they were doing in class, what their goals are going forward, and what kind of learners they are. Being a progressive school, we at Velammal Vidyalaya NewGen school ,Shollinganallur ran the SLC today,19 th October 2019 for grades VI-VIII. Parents were given appointments and each class had a waiting room and an SLC room. ReplyDeletePlease do not distinguish gender of the students with different colours of uniform. Why only in medavakkam Brach? Pink for girls, yellow for boys. This looks awkward against the word uniform.

DeleteMore importantly, girls uniform should include a legging or a full pant covering the legs with the skirt above to avoid untoward incidents involving skirts.
Why do we need belts for kids younger than G-3 such as JKG when it would only make them dependent everytime they use the toilet?
