Musically – wings to young minds

Music is the expression of ideas and thoughts in sound form.  It has no boundaries and no guidelines.  Life is like music with different rhythm, melody and harmony played at different stages.  The beat of the heart is the music of life.  

Music expresses many emotions that the words fail to do.  Students of Velammal New-Gen School, Thiruvottiyur, had a wonderful musical experience on Music Day where learning happened through music.

Songs written and composed by our teachers like Angles Song for Math, Parts of Speech for English, Song to glorify Leadership were sung by our students to impart learning along with music.

Musical Instruments were played by our students to exhibit their instrumental talents.  Students were also exposed to different styles of world music which enhanced their learning beyond the walls of the classroom.

Every wall of Velammal New-Gen School, Thiruvottiyur, was thundered by music on that day. Learning and fun combined together enriched the knowledge and entertained the soul of our young Velammalians.

Learners had a wonderful time getting themselves immersed in music. Music is a gift of God and no living being dislikes it. Music rejuvenates our energy and no doubt that it acts as a stress buster.

Let the rhythm linger throughout their lives.
