My Guide, My Counsel, My shining star- Father’s Day celebration at VNGSK

A father is indubitably the most important person in every family. He works diligently day and night just to keep his family happy and he takes up all the responsibilities and works every day in the quest of bettering everything for his family.

Father’s day is such an occasion which comes with a spirit of celebrating the presence of Father and his efforts in making up the life of the family. Over the years the bond that the child and Father share has became stronger and therefore it is evident that there has to be a celebration. On this day, to honour and bring forth the efforts of father, students from Grades 1-8 came prepared with their words of love for their superheroes.

Father’s day celebration in VNGSK was all about celebrating and expressing the gratitude and love towards their superheroes.

A father is someone who wants to catch you before you fall, instead picks you up, brushes you off and lets you try again. A father is someone who wants to keep you from making mistakes but instead lets you find your own way, even though your heart breaks in silence when you get hurt. A father is someone who holds you when you cry and scolds you when you break the rules, shines with pride when you succeed and has faith in you even when you fail.
