Inauguration of Scouts & Guides and Cubs & Bulbuls- VNGS Madipakkam

“The mission of Scouting is to contribute to the education of young people, through a value system based on the Scout Promise and Law to help build a better world where people are self-fulfilled as individuals and play a constructive role in society”.

VNGS Madipakkam has successfully launched the Scouts & Guides, Cubs & Bulbuls and Bunnies program in the campus. The Guest of the day, Mr. Kamalakannan, the District Training Commissioner has inaugurated the units.  The students, staff and the parents actively participated in the event. The Scouts & Guides, Cubs & Bulbuls took the Promise and Law of Bharat Scouts and Guides.

The chief guest motivated the young students to take responsibility of self and others through this prestigious program. He taught the basic claps and shared the benefits of the program in academics. Various awards and certificates of state and national level, one could achieve were briefed by Mr.Kamalakannan. He sang songs in multiple languages to encourage the young scouters and guiders.
