Republic Day Parade by Students of VNGS Madipakkam
The Constitution of India
came into effect on 26 January 1950. Every year on this day Indian national
flag is hoisted. On the 71st Republic Day the Scouters and Guiders of
Velammal New-Gen School Madipakkam participated in the ‘Republic Day Parade’ at
The Bharat Scouts and Guides State Head Quarters, leading the Chennai City CBSE troupe.
It was a moment of pride
as the Honorable Minister of School Education, Government of Tamil Nadu; Mr. K.
A. Sengottaiyan presided over the ceremony.
