VNGS Madipakkam - 2nd Champions Day

Sports is all about self discipline and true Sportsmanship!
VNGS Madipakkam conducted the "2nd Champions  Day" on the 29th of February 2020 in a  bustling atmosphere. The  parents and well wishers witnessed the event. The event  began with the School band welcome  the Chief Guest Dr.P. Bhaskaran, Yoga Siromani, Dhronacharya, Yoga  Kalaimamani and an International Yoga Expert. The Guest of honour, Mr.Paul Devasahayam, a certified professional and a resource person for Special Olympics, Bharat and the  Sport Consultant and  Mobility Specialist along with the Head boy and  the Principal Ms. Anuradha Eshwara.
The National, Olympic and School flags were hoisted in a religious manner, followed by Troop Inspection. The well-coordinated March Past  continued with the band strike, the up and a high-pitched voice issuing  a command, which was  a feast to eyes and ears. The Olympic torch was lit by the Sports Achievers of school. 
The captains of the different Houses took part in the 'Oath' which was the ceremonious occasion of the day. The Look Alike parade of the Play School Parents with their wards, the special  drills of JKG and SKG students were attractive. Students of Grades 1 to 8 exhibited rhythmic movements during the Drill, Zumba and Yoga. Karate  showcased the talent of  students they  acquired during the school sessions
"Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishments". The  human pyramid showed the discipline, concentration, dedication, balance and the teamwork of  students.
Track events were conducted for various classes and winners were declared.The students were given the medals accordingly.The Rolling Trophy was bagged with 'Samurai House'. The glorious school flag was lowered, marking the end of the Champions Day with a Vote of thanks to all.
