Today’s ‘Red Day’ celebration at VNGS Kelambakkam was a wonderful learning activity which helped the PlaySchool children to understand the concept of primary colours. We all know that red colour signifies love and compassion,but to the little ones aged 2 and a half,it is the colour of an apple 🍎 or traffic signal or their Diwali dress.
To reinforce this, students and the teachers were dressed in red clothes. Classes were decorated with red balloons. Students actively participated in “Show and Tell “activity. Each of them got an opportunity to speak about their favourite red object. After that, they had finger printing
activity. All students enjoyed colouring and printing their own hands.
Overall, today’s ‘Red Day’was a fun day with a long lasting learning experience for the students. Smiles on the faces of kids was contagious.
